A sales order can be voided during the process of creating it, or after it has been created.
To void a sales order you are working on
To void a previously created sales order
1. At the Customer field enter the customer code for the order you want to void.
If you are uncertain of the customer code, see Navigating Net Yield - Selecting a Customer ID Code.
A Select An Order window will appear listing sales orders in the system. Scroll to the order that needs to be changed and press Enter.
Note: This selection window displays all open, priced, ready, shipped or invoiced orders in the system for the selected customer. Shipped, ready and invoiced orders may not be voided in this screen. These sales orders must be voided using the Shipping option.
You may also press Enter in the Customer field to display a Select A Sales Order Option window with the following options: EXIT, SELECT CUSTOMER, and SELECTION BOX. Select SELECTION BOX to display a Select An Order window listing all sales orders in the system. Select the sales order that needs to be changed.
2. The sales order will display on the screen and command options will appear: select Void.
3. The following message will appear: "Do you really want to void this order? No/Yes."
4. The following message will display: "Print Order? No/Yes."
Note: If any of the order lines on the Sales Order have been Shipped on a Pick List in Update Pick List , the following warning message will appear: " Pick List Shipped, VOID not Allowed !!! Space bar to Continue" to indicate an order line has been shipped. Shipped, ready and invoiced orders may not be voided in this screen. These sales orders must be voided using the Shipping option.
